The first inside into the mystery of the black cat is given when he suddenly and strangely appears in the old shop it's relation with the broom is almost as if they were not objects but people it played with the broom as if they were friends this is not a normal incident. I do not think that Mr Bond was imagining things the three had a connection which was beyond human understanding it is doubt whether the cat became miss bellows or the miss bellows becam the broom was that transport life is full of mysteries I think this is also a mystery as Ruskin Bond himself pointed out a cat and a broomstick full of possibilities what could be the possibility is open to the readers.
