Russell had to deliver 40 hampers. He was paid $3.50 for every hamper delivered undamaged. For each damaged hamper, he was not paid and had to pay $4 instead. He delivered all the hampers and was paid $65. How many hampers did he damage?​

140 – 65 = 75

3.50 + 4 = 7.50
