(1) he was choosen a gold foil
(2) The sub atomic particle he use was Alpha Particle.
(3) He says the electrons ate revolve around the nucleus in a spiral path. This too is not satisfactory because in following spiral path, Energy is lost by the electrons and ultimately the will fall in the nucleus, but ATOMS are stable.
