Rutherford Model of atom:-)

*to explain Rutherford experiment we should use a radioactive element radium which is placed in Lead cavity. *Emitted rays of Radium passed through a slit and strike on board for oil which is covered by movable screen of ZnS..

***after bombardment of radioactive particles the following results we observe;/-

1. most of the particles pass through the foil without any deflection

2. few Alpha particles can deflect with a small angle

3. very few Alpha particles strike on bold foil and come back on its original path..
