Rutherford's theory was that nucleons and protons are in middle means nucleus and electrons are doing revolution around it. Also there is one rule that, the capacity of first orbit around nucleus can contain 2 electrons only and the second orbit can contain 8 electrons. And also remember that if the atom have 1 electron less the atom will have to receive 1 electron from other atom. And if the atom has one extra electron it will donate/give the electron to other atom. Helium is only one atom which is self sufficient. It never gives or takes electrons
