The following is what seems to be the proof that Two equals One (2 = 1). Suggest from options.

aa = bb
aa -bb = ab- bb
(a + b)(a - b) = b(a - b).

If we look at the given options carefully then we will see that option (2) is correct.  i.e  aa = bb

Explanation:

• Now let's solve the puzzle.
• Lets suppose a = 2 and b = 1  
• Now put the values in equation 2 i.e aa = bb
• 2 x 2 = 1 x 1  
• Now write in the power form.
• 2^2 = 1 ^2
• Taking square root on both side we get.  
• As power 2 get cancelled with square root therefore
• 2 = 1
