Answer:

plz plz plz mark my answer as brainliest if it somehow helped you

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the two numbers be 3a and 4a where “a” is the HCF.

Since 180 is their LCM, it means 180 should be divisible by both 3a and 4a.

=> 180/3a & 180/4a should not leave any remainder.

=> 60/a & 45/a should not leave any remainder.

=> Maximum value of “a” ( i.e. HCF ) is 15.

=> The two numbers are 45 and 60

Alternate Method

Let the two numbers be 3a and 4a where “a” is the HCF.

Now LCM x HCF = Product of two numbers

=> 180 x a = 3a x 4a

=> a = 180/12 = 15

=> The numbers are 45 & 60
