Answer:

p(x)= ax^2-3(a-1)

x-1 is a zero pf polynomial

so x=1

substitute 1 in the place of x and equate the equation to 0 because x-1 is a zero of polynomial.

a(1^2)-3(a-1)= 0

a(1)-3a+3=0

a-3a= -3

-2a= -3

a= -3/-2

a= 3/2

a= 1.5

thank you

Hey mate ,

Since one of its zero is 1

Thus we should put the value of x as 1 and put the equation as equal to 0 .

Thus ,

Heya , x-1 is in multiply or in addition !!???

It isn't clear ..So solve it after putting the value of x as 1 . accordingly !!!
