TopprHere the salt solution E is Na 2 SO 4 . When BaCl 2 solution is added to Na 2 SO 4 , white precipitates of BaSO 4 are formed.This white precipitate formed are insoluble in dil. HCl. This test is used for the identification of sulphate (SO 42−
