Answer:50%

Step-by-step explanation:Let S.P of 2 pencils = 2 Rs.

so, S.P of 1 pencil = 1 Rs.

A.T.Q, C.P of 3 pencils  =2 = S.P of 2 pencils

C.P of 1 pencil = 2/3

So, Gain = 1- (2/3)

              =(3-2)/3

              = 1/3

        Gain %= (Gain *100)/(C.P)

                  =    (1/3)*(100)/(2/3)

                 = 50%
