Given:

Selling price,

SP = 20

Cost price,

CP = 22

To Find:

Gain percent = ?

Solution:

As we know,

⇒  Gain=Selling \ price-Cost \ price

On putting the estimated values, we get

⇒           =22-20

⇒           =2

Now,

⇒  Gain \ percent=\frac{Gain}{CP}\times 100

⇒                        =\frac{2}{20}\times 100

⇒                        =2\times 5

⇒                        =10 \ percent

Note: % = percent

So that the gain percent will be "10%".
