ANSWER✔

\large\underline\bold{GIVEN,}

\sf\dashrightarrow perimeter\:of\:rectangle\:is\:164cm.

\sf\dashrightarrow length(L)= 16cm

\large\underline\bold{TO\:FIND ,}

\sf\dashrightarrow AREA\:OF\:RECTANGLE

FOMULA IN USE,

\large{\boxed{\bf{ \star\:\: PERIMETER\:OF\:RECTANGLE:- 2 \times (LENGTH+BREADTH) \:\: \star}}}

\large\underline\bold{AREA\:OF\:RECTANGLE\:=LENGTH \times \: BREADTH}

\large\underline\bold{SOLUTION,}

\sf\dashrightarrow LENGTH(L)=16cm

\sf\dashrightarrow BREADTH (B)= ?

FIRST FINDING THE BREADTH,

THEREFORE,

\sf\therefore PERIMETER\:OF\:RECTANGLE:- 2 \times (LENGTH+BREADTH)

\sf\implies 164=2\times (16+b)

\sf\implies \dfrac{164}{2} = 16+b

\sf\implies \cancel \dfrac{164}{2} = 16+b

\sf\implies 82= 16+b

\sf\implies 82-16=b

\sf\implies 66cm

\large{\boxed{\bf{ \star\:\: breadth= 66cm\:\: \star}}}

NOW,

\sf\dashrightarrow LENGTH(L)=16cmcm

\sf\dashrightarrow BREADTH (B)= 66cm

\sf\therefore AREA\:OF\:RECTANGLE\:=LENGTH \times \: BREADTH

\sf\implies 16 \times 66

\sf\implies 1056cm^2

\large{\boxed{\bf{ \star\:\:area\:of\:rectangle= 1056cm^2\:\: \star}}}

\large\underline\bold{AREA\:OF\:RECTANGLE= 1056cm^2}

Given :

  • ᴘerimeter of rectangle = 164 cm
  • Length of rectangle = 16 cm

To find :

  • Area of rectangle

Formula used :

  • ᴘerimeter of rectangle = 2( l + b)

  • area of rectangle = l × b

Where :-

  • l = Length
  • b = breadth

Solution :

ᴘerimeter of rectangle ( P) = 2( l + b)

To find b , put :-

  • l = 16 cm
  • p = 164 cm

⟹ P= 2( l + b)

⟹164= 2( 16+ b)

⟹(164/2) = ( 16+ b)

⟹ 82 = 16+ b

⟹ 82 - 16 = b

⟹ 66 cm = b

therefore , breadth = 66 cm

Now we will find area of rectangle :-

⟹ area of rectangle = l × b

⟹ area of rectangle = 16 × 66

⟹ area of rectangle = 1056 cm²

ANSWER :

area of rectangle = 1056 cm²
