Question :-

Why Indian schools are not making children to clean the classroom instead in Japan, the students have to clean the room after the dispersal ?

Solution :-

Well, this question is an ideology based question which shall be explained with two aspects that is of India and Japan. Let's look at them :

Ideologies of Indians :

Indians have an ideology that cleaning is an inferior job. Although, some people might not think so but for most of them the mentality is like this. According to our traditional caste system,we are taught that the works like cleaning are related to people with low caste. Even many a times, there has been a try made out to for the same to make children clean their classroom but most of the time the result was a failure. Many parents of students reacted with opposition. They claimed that their dignity was being taken away by such actions. Many of times even students opposed this because even they thought that doing such works will spoil their so called 'image' in their class. Now our government and schools, had no option instead of dropping this idea because of majority of people. If they won't have done so, then people would have stopped sending their children to schools and would have appointed home schooling teachers. Although, there's very little mistake of Indians behind this but still mistake is a mistake only. Our traditional ideologies and caste system are the reasons for it.

Ideologies of Japanese :

Japanese people initially have no caste system. They follow the religion known as "Buddhism" which supports no caste system. All people are treated equally in Japan. Even the ideologies of children and their parents are open minded. They prefer to make their children learn to do their own works by themselves. Their aim is to make children complete independent on themselves. They embibe the self disciplinary values in their children from very young by such kind of works. Children even reduce making their classrooms dirty because they know that they only have to clean the classroom.

Do you know ?

In most of the foreign countries, there is a provision for children that they have to work in public places like hotels, dance coachings, tuitions, sports centre, etc. to earn their first - self earning which they habe to present in school as proof to earn a recorded certificate from school side which even helps them in institutional placements.
