QuestioN :-

What happens to the plant if the tip of the root or shoot is being cut out ?

ANsWeR :-

If the shoot of the plant is being cut out , the plant will die obviously .

Reason :-

The meristem tissue is present in the tip of the plant and also in the shoot of the root , it helps in the thickness and longer growth of the tip system .

And if the meristem tissue is not present , of course , the plant will not have ability to grow and it will die .

So the meristem tissue is very important for a plants growth , and also if when cut , it will not grow to its full size .
