One of the most important reason behind it is selfishness. Now people have became so selfish that they uses other people only for their personal needs.

They don't care about other's feelings.

but the bitter part is if it changes once..it can never return...the reason behind it can be pain...fear....change of perspective...change in attitude....selfishness ...jealousy ..circumstances

many things can affect a person which makes them change ....for instance:-

a boy with cheerful and bubbly behavious can become serious and solemn after 10 years because time has affected him...the circumstances he has gone through compels him to change....
