Considered as one of the greatest military commanders in history, he never lost a battle in his 15 years of conquest. His conquests included Anatolia, Syria, Phoenicia, Judea, Gaza, Egypt, Mesopotamia, Persia and Bactria.

Alexander named more than 70 cities after himself—and one after his horse. He is considered  because he changed the course of history by creating a vast empire that stretched from Macedonia to Egypt.

The cause of his death still remains as one of the greatest mysteries of the ancient world.
