The king of sikkim was known as chodyal and was ruling from may 1975 in the16 crntuary and have a nice contact between Hindus and tibbetans. followed by buddhisst kingdom in 17 centuary. Sikkim emerged as polity in their own rights and get against backdrop from incursion from tibet. In the 18 crntuary thrthe Britishers merge it into India.
