The change which cannot be reversed is called a chemical change. Examples of chemical change are burning of paper, burning of wood etc. In a chemical change, some new substances are formed such as in burning of paper, some gases, water paper and ash is formed.
On the other hand, the change which can be reversed is referred as physical change. Examples are inflating a balloon, making shaped with clay etc. No new substance is formed in a physical change.
