✔let , Age of Seeta = x ,

Age of Geeta = y,

a/c to questions

x:y = 8:9

=> x/y = 8/9

=> 9x -8y = 0.....(1)

Again ,

x+y = 68....(2)

multiply my 9 in (2).

we get ,

9x+9y = 612....(3)

Subtract (3)-(2),

- 17x = -612

=>x = 612/17

=>x = 36

By (2).

36+y = 68

=> y = 68-36

=>y = 32

✔ After 10 year age of seeta = x+10

= 36+10

= 46.

✔After 10 year age of Geeta = y+10

= 32+10

= 42.

⏩Thus :-

After 10 year Ratio of age of Seeta and Geeta will be

= 46:42

= 23:21
