Most of the Indians hate Gandhi. On he other hand, Gandhi was the only Indian to become the "Time Person of Year". His birthday is celebrated as International Peace Day. He is a man f honour and respect even for British. South African leader Nelson Mandela was influenced by him.

A man with these qualities is hated by the countrymen for whom he struggled. Is it justified? Why/Why not?

Mahatma Gandhi was a great person.He is very kind hearted and generous person.He always give best contribution to India.He is little bit black.In train,He is sitting at his seat and then a white man came and there was no seat left but train conductor said to white man seat on his seat. And Mahatma Gandhi left the seat.He was very much angry and not satisfied for discrimination between white and black people.He do many things and free india from discrimination. He is hated because of his personality.But I think he should not be hated because he is good man.A person never becomes great with personality. A person becomes great with his manner ,working way,respecting other,etc

Hence,It is justified..

✒Mahatma Gandhi , the greatest and the most prominent figure in the history of indian freedom movement was born on 2nd October , 1869 in Porbandar, Gujarat . He is world renowned for what he did for the freedom of our nation . Owing to j s continuous striving efforts only our country is breathing in free air .


✒Now, Coming to the fact about why Indians Hate Gandhi . There are several reasons for this Hatred .


| 1 | Case of Bhagat Singh

〽Many of the Indians still believe that if tried , Gandhi could have saved the trio Bhagat Singh , Raj guru and Sukhdev from being hung by the British . Many say that he made no attempt to save them . Though it was clear that their ideas about attaining freedom were quiet varied , this accuse is a big reason for hatred towards him .

〽According to sources , Gandhi ji made attempts for the same . By entering into negotiations with Lord Irwin . It was that in the end , due to the pressure of resigning of other members , he had to succumb to their views .



| 2 | The Partition of India

〽According to many Indians , Partition was the Gift of Mahatma Gandhi . But again it was not because of him . In fact he never favoured partition of the country . M. Ali Jinnah and Lord Mountbatten were the real endorsers of this mass communal strife . It was due to the fear endorsed in the minds of Muslims that India would turn into a Hindu Dominated nation that resulted in this partition .


| 3 | His ideas about Non Violence

〽Most of the other freedom fighters were against his motion of Non Violence . In fact that's true that he practised an extreme form of Non Violence. Even our holy book Bhagwad Gita Supports the basic self defense ideas . Not even Mahatma Buddha Preached such extreme level of Non Violence . This was the main reason of difference in opinions .


| 4 | Other Reasons of Disputes

〽Yet another fact was his extreme love and trust on Jawaharlal Nehru which was not quiet appeasing to many others . Many argue that he always favoured him in all aspects . Some even accuse him of not flavoring Sardar Patel in his views .

〽His Mishandling of the moments he lead was quiet disappointing to many others . When he withdrew a big mass struggle due to just a mishap in Chauri Chaura , it disappointed so many who had sacrificed a lot .




✒Now coming to the justification , well all remember the mistakes of a man . People Hardly remember his great contributions , his sacrifice for the nation . No man is born perfect . Everyone has flaws and everyone commits mistakes . But Gandhi ji is a man of inspiration . Deserving to be the "Time person of the Year " People follow his ideals all over the world .

✒Nelson Mandela , the South indian leader was a great admirer of him . In his words , " Gandhi ji's ideas have played a vital role in the great transformations in South Africa . "


✒Other great leaders such as The Great Tibetan leader Dalai Lama , Martin Luther king also idolize him .


〽This is just the sheer futility and hypocrisy of the Indians then who cannot treat such a great soul with respect . Anyways India is a democracy , views vary and so does the ideologies !
