Answer:

Money saved-:

60,000 - 15,000 - 12,000

= Rs. 33,000

Let x be the percentage of the saved money from total income.

So,

x% of 60,000 = 33,000

x*60,000/100= 33,000

x = 33,000*100/60,000

x = 55%

Given

Sabitra earns Rs. 60,000 in a month. If she spends Rs. 15,000 on education and Rs. 12,000 on food.

We Find

Percentage of her income does she save in a month.

We know

She saved :-

Total income - Total expenses

= 60,000 - 15,000 + 12,000

= 60,000 - 27,000

= 33,000

So, she saved ₹ 33,000 monthly.

According to the question

We Find her saving percentage

= x % of 60,000 = 33,000

= x = 33,000 × 100 / 60,000

= x = 3,300,000 / 60,000

= x = 55 %

Hence, she saved 55% monthly in her total income.
