Sachin got 60% marks in maths and 3 marks less than maths in science . If the total marks are 150 how many marks he scored in science ?​

According to question,

60/100*x

Marks scored in science:

3 marks less than maths,

So, 60/100*x-3

Total marks : 150

60/100*x + 60/100*x-3 = 150

6/10*x + 6/10*x -3 = 150

6x/10 + 36x/10 = 150

42x/10 = 150

42x = 150*10

42x = 1500

x= 1500/42

x = 35.71
