3 the way he has shouldered the responsibility of the entire team, at a crucial time. During those days, the Indian team was not a young team, but a team that desperately needed athletic and young talent. He was then a one-man army who was relied on, to ensure a victory.
4. his putting the team's overall performance ahead of his ambition of being the captain.
Given all these reasons, it is evident that Tendulkar is the greatest cricketer not just in terms of statistics, but also in terms of being a good team player.
