You could compare his batting stats and records with anyone and argue he is not the best. There is one quality of Sachin that most sportsman miss out. He is Humble, Honest and his simplicity. The only one I can think of with those qualities is Dravid. We don't see Sachin react badly even if he is given out in a wrong decision, the only reaction you can see is disappointment and surprise. No matter how big the match is Sachin will walk back to pavilion even if the umpire rules not out if he had nicked the ball. Even in high pressure IND vs PAK or IND vs AUS matches you would see Sachin replying to sledging only with his BAT!
