The 2883rd digit is 7

Given:

Sachin writes all the numbers from 1 to 1000 on a paper in order.

Find:

The 2883rd digit.

Explanation:

From 1 to 9 sachin should wright 9 number.

From 10 to 99 each number is write two number So there are 90 number

should write double digit so 90 × 2 = 180  numbers sachin should write

And after that up to 999 sachin write 3 digit in each number.

From 2883rd digit -9 -180 = 2694rd number from 100 number he can write.

All numbers are 3 digits so we can divide 2694 from 3 we get 898

So after 99 there is 898 number he can write

That is  898 + 99 = 997

So the 2883rd digit is 7
