Solution:

Let her brother's age = x

Sadna's age = 3x

Four years ago:

Her brother's age = ( x - 4 )

Sadna's age = ( 3x - 4 )

According to the question:

⟿ ( 3x - 4 ) = 4 ( x - 4 )

⟿ 3x - 4 = 4x - 16

⟿ -4 + 16 = 4x - 3x

⟿ 12 = x

Sudhana's age

= 3x

= 3(12)

= 36

Sadna's age = 36 years.
