Sadhana wants to put a lace on the edge of a circular cover of diameter 1.5 m. Find the length of the lace required and also find its cost if one meter of the lace costs ₹15.​

Solution:

Diameter of the table cover = 1.5 m

∴ Radius = \frac{1.5}{2} = 0.75 m

∴ Length of the lace = 2\pi r = 2 \times 3.14 \times 0.75

:\implies 4.710 m

Cost of the lace = ₹15 × 4.710 = ₹70.65

\boxed{Cost \: of \: lace \: is\: Rs.70.65}
