• Our minds are constantly filled with emotional notions, which are temporary feelings. We still make bold, long-lasting decisions when we shouldn't even when we are aware of this. We are aware that emotions are transient. Intuition takes charge, disregarding the risk of making decisions based on our emotions. Rarely is logical reasoning intuitive.
• With this knowledge at hand, we have a chance since we have a choice. We can make a decision based on fleeting emotions or we can look for a safer frame of mind before making a commitment. Making any kind of decision, much less a long-term one, seems silly given how fleeting our emotions are. Therefore, it would be best to try and control our fleeting thoughts with fewer emotions given our requirement to make a decision.
