Saheb was victim of circumstances; he was born in a very poor family that lived in Seemapuri. Owing to poverty, he was forced to do the work of ragpicking. He wanted to attend a school, but couldn't.  He also wanted to play tennis, but could not afford it.

He started working at a tea stall; but then he became too much burdened with the work at the tea stall.
