The width of the picture = 7\ \frac{3}{5}=\ \frac{38}{5}cm
The required width of the frame
= 7\ \frac{3}{10}=\ \frac{73}{10}
The width of the picture to be trimmed of
= \frac{38}{5}-\ \frac{73}{10}=\ \left(\frac{38}{5}-\ \frac{73}{10}\right)\
= =\ \left(\frac{2\times38-73\times1}{10}\ \right)=\ \frac{76-73}{10}
= \ \frac{3}{10}\ cm
Hence, the required width to be trimmed is \frac{3}{10}\ cm
