Given :

The amount of money does Sahir had = Rs 75 $\dfrac{1}{2}$  = Rs 75.5

The quantity of banana bought = 2 $\dfrac{1}{2}$  dozens = 2.5 dozens

The rate of banana at per dozen = Rs 25 $\dfrac{3}{4}$ = Rs 25.75

To find :

How much money left with Sahir

Solution :

Applying unitary method

∵ The cost of 1 dozen of banana = Rs 25.75

∴  The cost of 2.5 dozens of banana = Rs 25.75 × 2.5

                                                             = Rs 64.375

Again

∵ The amount of money does Sahir had = Rs 75.5

And, The amount of money does Sahir spend on 2.5 dozens bananas = Rs 64.375

∴ Money that left with Sahir = Rs 75.5 - Rs 64.375

                                              = Rs 11.125

                                              = Rs 22 $\dfrac{1}{4}$

Hence,

The Money that left with Sahir after purchase 2 $\dfrac{1}{2}$  dozens of bananas is Rs 22$\dfrac{1}{4}$  Answer
