साहित्य और समाज
मानव-जीवन और उसके द्वारा गठित समाज संसार में सर्वाोच्च है। इसी कारण सहित्य, कला, ज्ञान-विज्ञान, दर्शन, धर्म आदि स्थूल या सूक्ष्म संसार में जो कुछ भी है, वह सब जीवन और मानव-समाज के लिए ही है, यह एक निर्विवाद मान्यता है। उससे पर या बाहर कुछ भी नहीं। मानव एक सामाहिक प्राणी है। वह व्यक्ति या समूह के स्तर जो कुछ भी सोचता, विचारता और भावना के स्तर पर संजोया करता है, वही सब लिखित या लिपिबद्ध होकर साहित्य कहलाता है।

Literature and Society
Human life and the society formed by him are supreme in the world. For this reason, whatever is in the physical, art, the science of knowledge, philosophy, religion etc., whatever is in the gross or subtle world is for all life and human society, it is an undisputed belief. Nothing on or out of it. Humans are a common creature. Whatever the person or group level thinks, thinks, and values at the level of emotions, all of them are called written or scripted literature.
