Bottles given by Sakshi = 7

Bottles Sakshi is left with = 12

Total bottles = 7+12

= 19

weight of 1 bottle = 250g

Weight of 19 bottles = 19× (weight of 1 bottles)

= 19×250 g

= 4750 g

= 4.750 kg

Required equation is  y = 250x

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the number of bottles

After giving away 7 of  the bottles to her friends, she still has 12 for herself.

So, x-7 = 12

x = 12+7

x = 19

So, total no. of bottles are 19

Thus she made 19 bottles

Amount of jam in 1 bottle = 250 grams

Let the total amount of jam be y

Amount of jam in x bottle = y = 250x grams

                                         = 250 \times 19 = 4750

The total weight of  the jam she made is 4750 grams

So, required equation is  y = 250x
