Solution -

Let the salary of Amit be ₹ 3x

So, the salary of Akhil be ₹ 5x

 According to Question,

3x + 7,000/5x + 7,000 = 11/16

=> 16(3x + 7,000) = 11(5x + 7,000)

=> 48x + 1,12,000 = 55x + 77,000

=> 1,12,000 - 77,000 = 55x - 48x

=> 35,000 = 7x

=> 35,000/7 = x

=> 5,000 = x

Akhil's Salary = ₹ 5x

= ₹ 5(5,000)

= ₹ 25,000

Let Amit's Salary = 3x

Let Akhil's Salary = 5x

According to the given question -

 \dfrac{3x + 7000}{5x + 7000} = \dfrac{11}{16}

Cross multiplication -

16(3x+7000) = 11(5x+7000)

48x + 1,12,000 = 55x + 77000

55x - 48x = 1,12,000 - 77000

7x = 35000

x \: = \dfrac{35000}{7}

x \: = 5000

Hence : Akhil's New salary is 5(5000) = 25000.
