Hi friend,
Journal entry for this :-
Salary A/c------------Dr 5,000
To cash A/c 5,000
( Being, paid salary )
Explanation :-
■ For this , paid salary is the expense . So, the accounting principal says all the expenses are debited. Here two types of accounts affected ' salary A/c ' and 'cash A/c' . Thus , for real A/c golden rule says what comes in debit and what goes out is credit. Here, the cash goes out for company. So , cash A/c is credited....i hope it helps you
