sale of 40 articles is equal to total printed price of 32 articles,find the rate of discount

We assume that the selling price for an article is 1rs
1*40=40
Printed price for an article is x
Then 32*x
32*x = 40
X = 40/32 = 1.25
Discount price is
.25/1.25*100 = 20%
