Because Selaginella has both microspores and megaspores, the plant is called heterosporous.

Answer: Selaginella does not produce seeds because they are non- flower plant and are reproduced using spores. Spermopsida are mainly gymnosperms or angiosperms.

Explanation:

The Selaginella are not like gymnosperms. The Selaginella are heterosporous of two different types of spores, namely mega spores and microspores.

The gymnosperms produces seeds inside the female reproductive part of the female.
