Child right includes the children 's right adopted in the united nations convention on the rights of the child on 20 th movement
In 1989 and is ratified by the government on 11th dec1992
The Commissions For Protection Of Child Rights Act, 2005 is an Act to provide for the constitution of a National Commission and State Commissions for Protection of Child Rights and Children's Courts for providing speedy trial of offences against children or of violation of child rights.
The salient features of this right as are follows:-
a. To examine all the safeguards for protection of child rights and recommend any measures for its implementation.
b. Provide reports to the central government after regular interval regarding the progress of these safeguards
c. To enquire if there is any violation of child rights and take necessary steps if needed.
d. Check those factors that would harm child rights like terrorism, riots, natural disasters, domestic violence, AIDS, pornography etc.
e. Looking into matters where children are in special need of care. Children in conflict with laws, juveniles, without parents alwats require special remedial measures.
f. Promote and undertake various researches in the field of child rights.
