➦HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

The Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980:

➡️It was adopted to protect and conserve forests. It restricts the powers of the state in respect of de-reservation of forests and use of forest land for non-forest purposes .✔️

Measures of the act:-

➡️The forest are the resource of nation. It is vital for the government to establish proper coordination between forest department and the local communities.✔️

➡️People participation, PPP(Public Private Partnership), Joint forest management are some of the methods that can be implemented in various eco-fragile areas.✔️

➡️Financing nature is often a challenge for developing country.✔️

➡️A promising approach 'debt for nature swaps' is being adopted at global level.✔️

➡️In this, conservation organisation buy debt obligation at a discount on the secondary market and than offer to cancel a debt if the debtor country promises to protect or restore an area of biological importance.✔️

➡️It should be taken care that while continuos logging, protection of most valuable forests including stream side buffer strip and prime wildlife habitat should also be done.✔️

➡️There are some alternative for clear cutting of forest for timer, log etc. like shelter wood harvesting, in which mature trees are remove in a series of two or more cut, strip cutting, in which all trees in a narrow corridor are harvested and selective cutting.✔️
