Answer:

we\ need\ to\ trim\ the\ width\ by\ \dfrac{3}{10}\ cm

Step-by-step explanation:

GIven,

length of picture= 7 cm

width of picture= \dfrac{3}{5}\ cm

length of frame =7 cm

width of frame=\dfrac{3}{10}

Since the length of picture and frame are equal ,we need to tream only width of the pic by an amount=\dfrac{3}{5}\ -\ \dfrac{3}{10}\ cm

=\dfrac{3}{10}\ cm

so we need to tream only width of the picture by an amount of \dfrac{3}{10}\ cm

Answer:

3/10 cm picture should be trimmed

Step-by-step explanation:

Width of Picture = 7 3/5  =  38/5  cm

Picture can not be more than 7 3/10  = 73/10  cm

Picture to be trimmed  = 38/5 - 73/10

= (38/5) *(2/2)  - 73/10

= 76/10  - 73/10

= (76 - 73)/10

= 3/10

3/10 cm picture should be trimmed
