Hey.

Differences between Salivary glands and Gastric glands is:-

•Salivary gland secretes saliva containing primary enzyme called Salivary amylase. But Gastric Glands produce 3 main enzymes called Hydro chloric acid, Mucus and Pepsin.

•Salivary gland is present in our mouth whereas Gastric gland is present in theinner lining of stomach.

•Salivary gland produces Saliva for breaking Starch into Sugar while Gastric Glands produce Pepsin for breaking of Proteins into Peptons and HCL for digestion of Protein, killing of microbes, etc.

•Salivary glands have only water secreting and mucous secreting cells. Gastric glands have chief cell, oxyentic cells and mucous secreting cells.

Thanks.
