a)write an expression for the total amount of money sally paid.
b)the bill for the pizza was $30 ,find the amount of sally paid.

Let the bill be 'b' and the 15% of bill is tipped to delivery guy i.e. 0.15b. Now, a) Total amount paid is 'b+0.15b' = 1.15b b) Bill is $30 money paid is 1.15(30) = $34.5

a)  total amount in $ is :   S = m + 15% * m  = m + 15/100 * m
           = 1.15 * m

b)  S = 1.15 * $30 = $ 34.5
