Money paid is 1830$

Money spent on clothes and sports =1/3

Money spent on jewels =1/12

1/3+1/12= 4+1/12

=5/12

money left was; 5/12-1830

Solution :-

→ Total amount paid to sally = $ 1830

now,

→ She spent on clothes = (1/3)

→ She spent on jewels = (1/12)

So,

→ Total money spent by her (in fraction) = (1/3) + (1/12) = (4 + 1)/12 = (5/12)

now,

→ Left money (in fraction) = 1 - (5/12) = (12 - 5)/12 = (7/12)

therefore,

→ Left amount = (7/12) of 1830 = (7/12) * 1830 = $1067.50
