Answer:

Solution:

Speed = 2m/s

Time taken to reach school = 15 minutes = 15 × 60 seconds = 900 seconds

Speed = (Distance travelled)/ (Time)

Distance = (Speed x Time)

= 2 x 900 =1800m

Also 1km= 1000m

Therefore 1800x (1/1000) = 1.8km.

The distance between her house and the school is 1.8 km.

time \: taken \: by \: salma = 15min \\  = 15 \times 60 \\ =  900 \: sec

speed \: of \: her \: bicycle = 2m \: per \: sec \\ speed =  \frac{distance}{time}

distance \:  = 2 \times 900 \\  = 1800 \: m \:

1000 \: m \:  = 1 \: km

1800 =   \frac{1}{1000}  \times 1800 \\  = 1.8 \: km

Required answer is 1.8 km
