Hey Friend____\(^o^)/

As we know that \fbox {s= vt}
Here,
v = 2 m/s

t = 15 min
= 900 sec

s = ?

so,

s = 2 × 900

= 1800 m

= 1.8 km

Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

Distance covered = 1.8 km = 1800 m

● Explaination -

# Given -

Time taken = 15 min

Speed = 2 m/s

# Solution -

First we'll need to convert time taken into seconds.

Time taken = 15 × 60 s

Time taken = 900 s

Now, we know formula for speed is -

Speed = distance covered / time taken

Distance covered = speed × time taken

Distance covered = 2 × 900

Distance covered = 1800 m

Distance covered = 1.8 km

Therefore, distance between Salma's house to her school is 1.8 km.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
