Salmonella typhi is the organism which causes typhoid.
Widal test is used to detect typhoid.

you are correct but Salmonella typhimurium is present in our intestine it is non pathogenic bacteria
it was used by griffith in transformation experiment
no dear... in intestine, E. coli is present
