If salt is constantly added to be water, some point salt appears at the bottom of the vessel because of the following reason:-
- After dissolving a certain amount of salt, no more salt can be dissolved in water as the saturation point is reached.
- Saturation refers to the level where none of the water molecules are available to bind with the ions of the particular solute, here sodium chloride.
- Thus, the excess amount of the solute gets deposited at the bottom of the vessel.
