Salt dissolves in water. But as salt is constantly added to the water, at some point
salt appears at the bottom of the vessel. Why does this happen?

When you add Table salt ( Sodium Chloride , NaCl) to water it dissolves into Na+ and Cl- ions. And these ions fill up the empty space between the molecules of water.
But if salt is constantly added to the water, at an extent, as soon as the empty intermolecular spaces completely filled up, the salt doesn't anymore dissolve and remains as it is.
Which can be seen as settled at the bottom of the vessel.
