salt dissolves in water. but as salt is constantly added to the water, at some point salt appears at the bottom of the vessel. why does this happen?​

Answer:

Though salt is soluble in water, adding salt constantly can result in deposition of salt in the bottom of the vessel . This is b'coz salt occupies space between the molecules of water hence dissolves. But after adding in a large amount it Settles down as there is no space btw molucules.
