Heterogeneous mixture - It is the mixture that does not have the same proportions of its components in any of the samples.

Example :-

Sand and water

Salt and oil

Ice cubes in drink

Because salt when mixed with water salt cannot seen with naked eyes and cannot be separated so it is a homogeneous mixture.

Were as when sand mixed with water can be seen easily with naked eyes and can be easily separate when water is leave undisturbed so it is a heterogeneous mixture.
